Go on a getaway in the heart of the Mont-Blanc massif in Megève, with family or friends.
Located one hour from Geneva International Airport and 15 minutes from Sallanches Station, this mountain resort is remarkably accessible.
DAY 1 :
After you have arrived at the Chalet in the late afternoon, enjoy the sunset over the mountains and snuggle up by the fire. Extend your evening with a friendly dinner with Savoyard specialities.
DAY 2 :
The next morning, after having had a good breakfast made with fresh and local produce, served on request by our housekeeper, put on your winter sports clothes and discover Rochebrune, one of the slopes of the Evasion Mont-Blanc ski area. Our concierge will have previously delivered your ski passes and equipment to simplify your stay.
After a day on the slopes, enjoy lunch on the panoramic terrace of the high-altitude restaurant “Super Megève” (reservation recommended). Return to the chalet and enjoy a late afternoon of cocooning. Book a massage in advance at home or relax outside in our Swedish bath.
In the evening, dine in one of the many traditional restaurants in the village and admire the facades illuminated with Christmas decorations.
DAY 3 :
In the morning, go for a dog-sled ride in the heart of the forest. Meet a passionate musher and discover this extraordinary activity in the heart of nature.
On your return to the chalet, enjoy a sunny lunch on the terrace. In the afternoon, head to the Megève Sports Palace for a relaxing afternoon at the Balneotherapy.
Relax in the indoor pool and test the fun aqua course outdoors, including counter-current swimming. Extend this moment of well-being in one of the saunas and/or hammam of the complex. Before leaving, make a stop at the tea shop to taste an infusion with local scents.
After a relaxing day, don’t worry about dinner and call our home chef to prepare dishes according to your desires and culinary preferences.
DAY 4 :
In the early morning, after a rich breakfast, equip yourself and discover the summit of Mont d’Arbois. A golf course in summer, and in the winter a snow-covered slope offering a breathtaking view of Mont-Blanc and a connection with the town of Saint-Gervais.
Enjoy the many trails and stop for lunch at the high-altitude restaurant “l’Idéal 1850” owned by the Rothschilds, an iconic family from Megève (reservation recommended). In the afternoon, continue your activity and let yourself be tempted by the musical show “La Folie Douce” which takes place every afternoon from 2 pm.
At the end of the slopes, around 4:30 pm, come back at the chalet for “tea time”. On request, our housekeeper can prepare a snack with hot drinks, pancakes and pastries.
In the evening, book your Alpage evening in advance. At nightfall, ride a snowmobile to a mountain refuge and enjoy a menu of Savoyard specialities. Afterwards, sled down the mountain under the moonlight for an unforgettable and unusual experience !
DAY 5 :
After a good night’s sleep and breakfast, get dressed to go to a breading farm to meet the reindeer in a remote setting but not far from Megève. Book in advance with our concierge what particular package you desire and go with family or friends for an exclusive experience.
At the end of the visit, return to the city centre of Megève and stroll through the cobbled streets and canals of the village. Enjoy a lunch at the “Le hibou Blanc” bistro, a must-see during your stay. In this magical setting, stop off for a shopping break in one of the many luxury boutiques. At the foot of the tree, in the village square, continue your journey in a horse-drawn carriage and stroll through the streets with their brilliant Christmas decorations.
At the afternoon’s conclusion, head for the Megève ice rink for the pleasure of ice skating as the final activity of your stay.
For your last evening in Megève, book in one of the restaurants for a festive dinner.
